Incense Care

Incense is a quiet way to clear the air, soften the mood, and bring the room back to stillness. A little care helps each stick or plank burn safely, release its scent gently, and become part of a slower daily ritual.

How To Use
  • Place the incense on a stable, fireproof surface before lighting.
  • For incense sticks, place the stick securely in an incense holder.
  • Light the tip until a small flame appears.
  • Gently blow out the flame and allow the incense to release a steady trail of smoke.
  • For incense planks, break off one small piece before lighting.
  • Let the smoke move slowly through the space.
Where To Burn
  • Burn incense in a well ventilated room.
  • Place it on a stable, heat resistant surface.
  • Keep it away from curtains, paper, dried flowers, fabric, shelves, and other flammable materials.
  • Avoid placing incense directly under strong airflow, fan, or air conditioner.
  • A quiet corner, meditation space, living room, or bedside area works best when used with care.
Care Notes
  • Never leave burning incense unattended.
  • Keep incense out of reach of children and pets.
  • Do not touch incense, ash, or the holder while hot.
  • Allow ash to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Make sure the incense is fully extinguished before leaving the room.
  • Store incense in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity.
For Incense Sticks
  • Use a proper incense holder that keeps the stick stable.
  • Make sure falling ash lands on a heatproof tray or dish.
  • If the scent feels too strong, burn for a shorter time and extinguish safely.
  • Place the incense slightly away from you and allow the smoke to drift naturally.
  • Do not place directly on wood, paper, fabric, or polished surfaces.
For Incense Planks
  • Break off one small piece before lighting.
  • Do not burn the full plank unless you intend to use it for a longer ritual.
  • Place the piece in a fireproof container, ceramic dish, or incense safe vessel.
  • Light the edge, then gently blow out the flame.
  • Allow the piece to cool fully before touching or disposing of ash.
